GYPSUM PARTITION BLOCKS
Gypsum partition blocks are cast-in-block rectangular parallelepipeds with slab to slab joints and highly precise sizing. They belong to the group of incombustible materials and again they are manufactured from eco-friendly materials.
The use of gypsum partition blocks allows to reduce the time and material expenditures for the erection of room dividers by 2-2,5 times, compared to the use of traditional materials (bricks, cellular concrete blocks).
Gypsum partition blocks are normally used for dividers of non-specified fire-resistance rating in residential, public and industrial buildings with low and normal levels of humidity according to the technical and commercial proposal. Soundproof gypsum partition blocks are used for soundproof dividers of non-specified fire-resistance rating in residential, public and industrial buildings.
A single block is used for room dividers, two – for apartment dividers, thus between the two blocks one can place insulation (most commonly it’s mineral wood board) or wiring and piping. In the dividers apertures can be made for the subsequent installation of doors and windows. It’s possible to install wooden, aluminum, steel or plastic door casings. The resulting surface of the gypsum partition blocks is suitable for all kinds of finish (paint, wall-paper, ceramic tiles, decorative plaster). Putting a leveling plaster layer is not required. The surface can be coated with water or oil paint. Various kinds of wallpaper are applicable to the surface.
